So when you own multiple sites or administer multiple sites, between sites in terms of search engine there are the so-called administrative relations. Obviously, you can control the links between such sites. You can share content. And Google in the past decade has spent a lot of energy to learn how to recognize such administrative relationship, and the reason for this apparent eagerness: links, which are controlled by the same person should not weigh as much as the natural links that you put the wrong people.

However, Google may reward you for links between related sites. There are specific times when you just need to tell the search engine that all these sites are yours, and the availability of administrative relations between sites can play good.
